BEACON: Bankruptcy Education and Consumer Outreach Network

SU2J’s Bankruptcy Education and Consumer Outreach Network (BEACON) Project is an online and live curriculum, funded with the support of the American College of Bankruptcy Foundation.  The presentation explains several aspects of bankruptcy, and a debtor’s legal rights and responsibilities if they decide to file for bankruptcy. The intent of the project is to provide consumers and debtors with reliable and trustworthy education about how they can protect their wages, assets, and homes.

If you are a community organization, and are interested in partnering with SU2J to host a live presentation, or if you would like to know when a live presentation may be conducted in your area, please contact us.

If you have reviewed the BEACON materials, are a resident of Pima County, and would like advice from a lawyer about your specific situation, please submit an application for legal help.

IMPORTANT: Reading the BEACON materials or watching the BEACON videos does not create an attorney/client relationship between you and Step Up To Justice. If you would like advice from a lawyer about your specific situation, you will need to apply for legal help and be accepted as a client.
